Anne Lister - Custom Design Minifigure

Born in 1791, Anne Lister was a wealthy landowner and diarist. She lived openly as a lesbian at a time such things were extremely taboo, and was dubbed 'Gentleman Jack' by the local people.

She revelled in her independence, travelling widely, pursuing business interests and enjoying her life with her wife. Although the marriage may not have been legally binding, she did give her partner a ring and they had their union blessed in a church. 

We can't help but be inspired by this woman, who had the courage to be unashamedly herself in the face of adversity. It is for that reason that we had to make her into a custom LEGO minifigure! 

The figure is offered in a light flesh or a traditional LEGO yellow skin tone. It comes complete with a LEGO top hat, cane and a baseplate with an Anne Lister quote.

The design was created by us, and printed onto genuine LEGO parts.
